High-Speed Train partially revised draft EIR

The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) is circulating the Bay Area to Central Valley High-Speed Train (HST) Partially Revised Draft Program Environmental Impact Report (EIR) to address the November 2011 Town of Atherton court rulings regarding the 2010 Bay Area to Central Valley High-Speed Train Revised Final Program Environmental Impact Report.
The Authority will accept public comment on this document for a period of 45 days, commencing on January 6, 2012, and concluding at close of business on February 21, 2012.
The Bay Area to Central Valley HST Partially Revised Draft Program EIR can be obtained on the Authority's website at http://tinyurl.com/7mzh6lt, or by calling the Authority at (916) 324-1541 and requesting a Compact Disk (CD) copy of the document. The Partially Revised Draft Program EIR contains only the additional information and analyses needed to address court rulings.
Context for this document is contained in the 2008 Final Bay Area to Central Valley HST Program EIR/EIS and the 2010 Revised Final Program EIR, also located on the Authority's website at http://tinyurl.com/7mzh6lt. Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15088.5, subdivision (f)(2), the Authority requests that reviewers limit the scope of their comments to the revised materials contained in this document. The Authority is obligated only to respond to those comments received during the comment period that relate to the content of this Partially Revised Draft Program EIR.

A public meeting will also be held on February 9, 2012, at 4 p.m. at San Jose City Hall to receive comment.
