January 13, 2012 > Olive Hyde Art Gallery call for entries Olive Hyde Art Gallery call for entries Submitted By Irene Jordahl "Hidden Treasures/Local Talent" presents the work of local artists working in various mediums from traditional and contemporary visual arts to contemporary craft. Innovation is encouraged, all works must be original (no production work) and may include submissions of painting, drawing, printmaking, fiber arts, photography, sculpture, craft and mixed media. All work must be made from 2008 to current and be ready to hang upon delivery. Works not deemed "ready to hang" may not be accepted at delivery. No duplicate entries from prior Olive Hyde Exhibitions. A reception, hosted by the Olive Hyde Art Guild, will be held Friday, February 17, 7-9 pm. Submission of works must include: Short (one paragraph) bios and artist statement no more than 8000 characters (roughly 1000 words). Must include mailing address. Up to 10 images in support of your proposal. Images in JPEG format (images used for postcard will be requested at 300 dpi). Please list image title, dimensions, year, in email submission. Upon acceptance, an entry fee of $15.
