December 16, 2011 > Minor service adjustments for AC Transit Minor service adjustments for AC Transit Submitted By AC Transit Service changes to several bus lines will take effect on Sunday, December 18, 2011, as part of an arbitrated settlement to define the break periods for AC Transit bus operators. In line with the decision that was issued in April 2011, the District is required to add time to several of its runs so operators receive a dedicated amount of time for an uninterrupted meal break along with two other uninterrupted breaks per shift. Subsequently, minor adjustments in several bus schedules and to a few bus stops are necessary to comply with the arbitrator's decision. However, the restructuring is projected to have very little, if any, impact on bus passengers and traffic flows.
