December 6, 2011 > Wieckowski honors 'local heroes' Wieckowski honors 'local heroes' Submitted By Jordan Eldridge The State of the 20th Assembly District Address and Awards Ceremony event will be held on the evening of Thursday, December 15, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., at the James Logan High School Center for the Performing Arts in Union City. Assemblymember Bob Wieckowski will address the accomplishments of his first year in the legislature and unveil his plans for the 2012 legislative term. In conjunction to the address, Wieckowski is honoring 13 "local heroes" for their community work. The event is free of charge and open to the public, however RSVPs are kindly requested.
