November 25, 2011 > Exterior fire Exterior fire Submitted By Acting Battalion Chief Rick Frawley Milpitas Fire Department units responded to the reported exterior fire in front of the residence located in the 700 block of Las Lomas Drive. Units arrived on scene to find an active fire in a vehicle parked in the driveway in front of a two-story residential structure. Fire extinguishment, overhaul, property damage mitigation and cause investigation was carried out. No mutual aid units were requested for this event. No injuries were reported. Responding units included three Milpitas Engine Companies, two Milpitas Truck Companies, One Urban Search and Rescue Unit, One Milpitas Battalion Chief and Milpitas Police for perimeter control.
