Michael Gebhardt, Fremont PD On August 10, 2010, the Fremont Police Department issued warrants for the arrest of Wenyuan Sun, a 48 year-old Kung-Fu instructor. Sun was wanted for the molestation of two under-age female students who attended his Kung-Fu school in Fremont (O-Mei Kung Fu Academy, at 39171 Farwell Dr.) Sun become aware of the police investigation at the time and fled the country. On September 23rd, Sun was arrested at an airport in Houston, TX. The arrest was a result of a joint operation with the U.S. Marshal's Service, U.S. Customs, and the Fremont Police Department Crimes Against Persons Unit. On October 12th, 2011 Sun was charged was charged with three felony counts of child molestation and is currently being held at Santa Rita jail in Dublin, Ca.
