San Khau Viet Cali and Association Viet Arts proudly present the bilingual Vietnamese/English play "Waves of Life." Based on true stories, the play focuses on how Vietnamese immigrants maintain their own culture while adapting to the new American culture, and deals with educating communities about domestic violence, responsible gambling, teen problems, etc. Staged with multicultural characters in an expression of their own heritage and modern art, this play is an enriching, colorful arts bridge that increases cross-cultural understanding within and between communities. This program is made possible in part through a grant from the City of Milpitas. |
