On the campus of Chabot College in Hayward, the East Bay Swim League held its EBSL Championships meet with all 12 clubs vying for a title this past Saturday, July 30. There were approximately 1,100 swimmers total splashing their way to victory. Newark Bluefins had tremendous effort and finished third overall.
Bluefin swimmer Jonathan Mui set a league record in the butterfly. All of the Newark Bluefins had strong swims and gave it their all. Thanks to coaches for a tremendous season and to all the Bluefin families that supported their swimmers day after day.
