FFL hosts football camp
Football is back. On Monday, July 25, the National Football League owners and NFL Players Association ended a more-than four month lockout by reaching a mutually-acceptable Collective Bargaining Agreement. With the agreement, it ensured fans here in the Bay Area, and all over the country, that games will begin on time, including a full slate of preseason games.
Also with the agreement is a newfound excitement for the game of football. And that's why Fremont Football League's football clinic is coming at the perfect time. FFL's football clinic, for youths ages 4-14, is a weeklong experience, teaching kids the fundamentals of the game while having fun.
This noncontact clinic will be run by trainers and coaches from FFL, who will bestow knowledge of proper positioning and correct techniques to give kids the edge they need to compete.
FFL football clinic will be held at the Central Park softball complex, field 1 and runs from Monday, Aug. 1, through Friday, Aug. 5, from 9-11 a.m. each day. Cost of the camp is $99 per person. Registration must be done prior to arrival at the camp and can be done at 3300 Capitol Ave., Building B in Fremont or online at www.regerec.com. For more information, call 510-790-5520.
