July 5, 2011 > Assault with deadly weapon Assault with deadly weapon Submitted By Sergeant Raj Maharaj, Milpitas PD At approximately 12:30 a.m. on July 2, a caller from the 1300 block of Calle Oriente called 9-1-1 to report two subjects physically fighting; one person armed with a knife. Milpitas Police Officers arrived within two minutes from the time of call and contacted the victim, who had a stab wound. The victim was, later treated and released from a local hospital for a non-life threatening injury. Officers learned the suspect was Joshua June Bince Andres, a 20 year old male, Milpitas resident who was contacted at his home and taken into custody without incident. Andres was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for Assault with a deadly weapon.
