A Newark resident was robbed of his wallet on Joaquin Murieta Avenue. The incident happened on Tuesday night, May 3 when two unidentified men, wearing masks accosted the victim then fled on foot. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. The victim was not injured.

27-year-old Teena Notinokey was arrested and charged with passing a forged check at the Check Center in the Newark Square Shopping Center on Monday, May 2. Police also found Notinokey in possession of crack cocaine, methamphetamine, a crack pipe, and a syringe. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
