To make that aim a reality, ACS sponsors Relay for Life events in thousands of communities across the globe. It is a life-changing event that gives people a chance to celebrate the lives of people that have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. The Union City Relay for Life will take place August 27-28 at James Logan High School. Over 20 teams have already formed to participate in the Union City event, and the organizing committee is seeking more teams and sponsors to join. Friends and families, businesses, church and community groups all make fabulous teams. Current event sponsors include Acacia Creek Homes and the New Haven School District.
