April 8, 2011 > Prowling burglary suspect arrested Prowling burglary suspect arrested Submitted By Sergeant Daryl Sequeira, Milpitas PD A juvenile was cited for prowling in the backyards of houses in Milpitas on Wednesday, March 30. At about 11:30 a.m., the 16 year-old Milpitas resident was caught peeking into the front window of a residence. When the resident confronted the suspect, he told him he was looking for a friend. A member of the Neighborhood Watch Program, the resident informed Police and the suspect was located at his residence on Butano Drive. Police discovered that at least one home the suspect was seen exiting had window screens removed and pried. The suspect was cited for prowling and attempted burglary.
