April 1, 2011 > Newark Crime News Newark Crime News Submitted By Commander Robert Douglas, Newark PD On Friday, March 25, a juvenile who hid inside Toys R Us and stole a radio tried to escape by hiding in bushes behind the store. He was caught and Officer Nobbe served the suspect's father with notice for the juvenile to appear in court. 19-year-old Eran Paz was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant and marijuana possession. The incident was reported on Saturday, March 26. The Hayward resident was arrested during a warrant service at the E-Z-8 Motel. Officer Cervantes is investigating the case.
