Endless possibilities

Mother Nature can present an incredible show of beauty - flowers, ferns, grasses and meadows. David Amme, Wildlife Vegetation Program Manager for the East Bay Regional Park District will present a workshop at the Milpitas Library demonstrating which California native grasses work best in residential gardens.
A past president of the California Native Grass Association, Amme believes that plants are more than objects with size, texture and color. They are interrelated and dynamic components of an ever-changing landscape. Native grasses add contrast and food sources for beneficial, garden-friendly wildlife to a garden.
