February 22, 2011 > Exploring with Yupo Exploring with Yupo Submitted By Sachie Johns Please join award-winning multi-media artist, Grace Rankin, for a fun and explorative two-day workshop using yupo (synthetic glossy paper), Saturday and Sunday, February 26 and 27 at the Fremont Art Association (FAA) Gallery. Enjoy unpredictability and "happy accidents" working on this synthetic surface as well as methods to control water media. Please bring basic watercolor supplies and lunch or dine at a local restaurant. Rankin is a self-taught multi-media artist with a current focus in watercolor and mixed media/collage. The artist has been teaching watercolor for the past 25 years, both on location and in the studio.
