The cost is $22 per daughter/mother pair. ($12 for another 3rd or 4th grade daughter participant).
Workshop Coordinator, Miriam Keller explains, "We, the American Association of University Women (AAUW) believe that girls need to be introduced to the stem subjects (science, technology, engineering and math) early, and shown that they are fun and exciting. These core areas are also important for the transferable skills that they develop."
Advance registration is a must. Participants will be assigned to five classes from the selection of 9 topics offered. One of the classes is a show in the Hopkins Planetarium and the others will be assigned in the order received.
