Update Your Skills: Explore Online Learning Resources

Join TriCity Chapter IAAP(r) (International Association of Administrative Professionals) members and friends for an educational program from Deborah James, an adjunct instructor for the Peralta Community College District and workshop facilitator for the Alameda Community Center.
Did you know there are many free and low cost websites to help you master popular computer software? Other sites offer refresher courses and training in a variety of subjects. Join us as we visit more than ten online learning resources. You should attend if you want to stay on the cutting edge, need to add skills to your resume, or would like to find resources for free or low cost training certificates. Learn how to explore available topics, find technical training sites, and navigate resources.
Ms. James has over 30 years experience as an administrative professional, mostly as a legal secretary and assistant. In 2006, Ms. James was selected for inclusion in the book, "Lessons from the Top-The 15 Most Successful Paralegals in the Country."
Networking begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m., and the program at 7 p.m.
The cost is $30 for dinner and program, and $20 for the program only (5:30 p.m. arrival OK, no meal selection). IAAP Member Discount is $22 for dinner and program, and $12 for the program only.
