Relay For Life kicks off in Union City
Relay For Life is gearing up once again in the fight against cancer. A celebration of survivors, remembrance of those lost, and a fundraiser for programs and research, Relay For Life is a 24-hour event with teams walking or running laps to show that cancer never sleeps. Over 3.5 million people in 5,000 communities across the country participate each year, as well as communities in 20 other countries.
The Union City Relay For Life will be held Saturday and Sunday, August 27 and 28 at James Logan High School. For more information contact relay manager Scott Townley at (925) 768-0566, or scott.townley@cancer.org. |
