A jewelry wholesaler was robbed of a computer, watch, and camera on Thursday, January 27. Three suspects drove up to the victim in the parking lot of Home Depot; one of them exited and simulated a handgun. According to the victim he was possibly followed by suspects. The only description of the suspect vehicle available so far is that it is a van. The case is under investigation.
A 51-year-old black male walked into the Taco Bell located at the Fremont Hub shopping center on Thursday, January 27 and robbed the clerk with a clear plastic airsoft gun. Police have identified the suspect as Melvin Johnson. Officer Shadle located Johnson as he was walking away from the Union 76 gas station carrying a gas can full of gas purchased with the stolen money. Johnson was detained at gunpoint and positively identified as the robber by Taco Bell employees. |
