Police responded to a reported residential burglary at the 40000 block of Blacow Road on Friday, January 21. The victim interrupted a burglary, finding the suspect inside her house. An attempt to detain the suspect was unsuccessful and he is still at large.

Police responded to a reported burglary in progress at US Gypsum located at 37887 Shinn Street. A suspect was arrested for graffiti vandalism to the building, robbery was unfounded.

A residential burglary was reported on Monday, January 24 at 4400 block Darwin Drive after a witness observed a male exit the house with a television. The suspect is described as a thin black male adult with a diamond earring in his left ear. He fled in a dark colored Chrysler 300 with 20" chrome rims.

A Dumpster fire set at the Target store around 1 a.m. was captured on a surveillance system. At 6:30 a.m., security personnel noticed a subject matching the description in their lot again. They described him as a black male, in early 30's, about 6'2" tall weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a jogging suit and a brown beanie.
