A man was allegedly robbed of $60 on Tuesday, January 11. According to the victim, the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction after stealing the money from his pocket. The victim sustained a small laceration under his left eye as a result of the assault. Officer Luevano is investigating the case. The incident happened near Washington Hospital. The victim stated he was attacked by an adult male. The suspect is unknown. According to Police he is "possibly a black male."
Annoying a minor
Police are looking for a suspect for annoying a 15-year-old victim. The minor was leaving from the adult school on Calaveras Drive after her class at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday January 11 when the suspect approached her on a bike. He began soliciting the victim for sex and then walking beside her as she walked west on Calaveras. A Good Samaritan stopped and gave the victim a ride to Niles where she lives. Officer Malcomson is investigating the case.
The suspect is described as male 30-50 years old with brown eyes, short dark hair and a bald spot. He is approximately six feet tall with a thin build and a scruffy unshaven face. The suspect was last seen wearing brown hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans, riding an older 10 speed style bicycle. He spoke with a middle-eastern accent.
