Five New Certified Bay Area Green Businesses in Fremont

The Fremont City Council recognized five Fremont businesses for earning their Bay Area Green Business certification and for demonstrating their environmental commitment through sustainable business practices. These businesses include Best Graphic Image, DSL Printing, Patriot Memory, REI, and Write Place, all of which were recognized at the Nov. 2 City Council Meeting.

The Bay Area Green Business Program recognizes businesses that protect our environment. Certified Bay Area Green Businesses:
- operate efficiently, therefore saving money.
- conserve energy, water, and other natural resources.
- are environmental leaders and community-friendly businesses.
- reduce greenhouse gas emissions, helping to mitigate climate change impacts.

In addition to the five new businesses, Bay Area Green Business certified companies in Fremont include: Club Sport, dFares, Del Conte's Landscaping, Delta Products Corp., EXP Pharmaceutical Services Corp., FedEx Office, Fremont Marriott Silicon Valley, Glenmoor Auto Repair, Green Leaf Cleaners, Instor Solutions, Inc., Kate's Caring Gifts, Mission Valley Holiday Cleaners, Law & Mediation Office of Lorna Jaynes, Pete's Foreign Auto Repair, Satellite Housing - Fremont Oak Gardens, and TGIF Body Shop.
