Carter named TCV Male Athlete of the Month

Very rarely does second place outdo first. Ok, so maybe in this case, it's not so rare.

For the Washington High School football Huskies, despite losing the Mission Valley Athletic League title for the second straight year to the James Logan High School Colts, they still went further in the North Coast Section playoffs than the Colts did. A main catalyst in that success is senior athlete Deandre Carter.

Carter, an all-around star for the Huskies led the team in total yards with 260 offensive yards in Washington's 38-28 loss to Pinole Valley High School in the second round of the NCS Division II tournament.

Usually at receiver, Carter has made huge plays for the orange and black of Fremont's Washington High School during his varsity career.
