October 1, 2010 > 2010 Fire Prevention Week 2010 Fire Prevention Week Submitted By Courtesy of Fremont Fire Department Fremont Fire Department is offering free smoke alarms to Fremont residents at all neighborhood fire stations during Fire Prevention Week which runs from Sunday, October 3 through Saturday, October 9. Two per household will be available while supplies last. Smoke alarms should be tested monthly, using the test button, and be replaced every 10 years and sooner if they do not respond properly when tested.
