Compassionate Network takes action

Submitted By Ivy Wu

Over 200 volunteers of the Compassion Network from Resonate Movement Church, Bridges, Grace Church, Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, Mission Springs Community Church, New Hope Community Church, Morning Star Church, Harbor Light, Inroads, Great Exchange, Fremont Community Church, Christ Community Church and other church organizations including members of the Gurudwara Temple assisted with the renovation of Tropics Mobile Home Park at 3300 Almaden Blvd. in Union City on Saturday, September 11.

Through the Compassion Network collaboration, workload, logistics and funding of large projects is manageable for smaller congregations. This large mobile home park was divided into seven zones for yard work, repairs, painting, hauling, donations to Goodwill, etc. Small teams of volunteers responded to specific jobs requested by the senior residents of the park.

Compassionate Network's mission is to love the community with the works of our hands and feet.
