September 17, 2010 > Brawl at Newark soccer club Brawl at Newark soccer club By Meenu Gupta A 16-year-old suffered facial injuries allegedly from being kicked during a fight involving numerous subjects. According to Commander Robert Douglas, Newark PD, 50-100 subjects were fighting in the street after a birthday party at the Newark Soccer Club on Thornton Avenue. The victim was transported to Eden Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Officers contacted numerous party-goers and the victim's parents but received little information. Officer Allum later contacted the teenager but found him uncooperative.
