Event honors Fremont cop
Submitted By Lori Yamaguchi
In recognition of the bravery and sacrifice of Fremont Police Officer Todd Young who was recently shot and injured while on duty, Olympic gold medalist and ice skating legend Kristi Yamaguchi will host a family friendly event on Saturday, September 18. The skater's Always Dream Foundation will be dedicating a portion of the proceeds from Dreamin' at Zeum to the Young family, on behalf of Officer Young's continued recovery.
This will be a fun-filled event packed with family entertainment. Create your own clay animation, become a rock star, or get into the studio and record your own news broadcast; meet Bay Area celebrities, or ride the historic Zeum Carousel.
Founded in 1996, the non-profit, Kristi Yamaguchi's Always Dream Foundation was established to support organizations that have a positive influence on children. Each ticket purchased and redeemed is automatically entered into a fun-filled drawing for family-friendly prizes. Proceeds from Dreamin' at Zeum will also benefit the Always Dream Foundation.
