September 3, 2010 > Teen arrested in Hayward homicide Teen arrested in Hayward homicide By Meenu Gupta Photo Courtesy of Hayward PD A 19-year-old Hayward resident, Aaron Chandra has been arrested in the shooting death of a 28-year-old Hayward resident. Police found Osana Saga suffering from a fatal gunshot wound in the torso in the 500 block of Cottage Park Drive on Sunday, August 29. The subject was transported to a local trauma center where he was pronounced deceased. "We are still investigating what may have transpired between Chandra and Saga that led to the shooting. Preliminary information indicates that this was not a random incident and not a chance encounter," said Lt. Roger Keener, Hayward PD. This is Hayward's 12th homicide since January 2010.
