September 3, 2010 > Two suspects charged with brandishing gun Two suspects charged with brandishing gun By Meenu Gupta In two separate incidents on the same day, Monday, August 30, two suspects were charged for gun brandishing in Fremont. A 64 yr old male suspect was taken into custody for brandishing a weapon at 39034 Carmel Court. According to Detective Bill Veteran, Fremont PD, the subject brandished a gun at several meat salesmen after they came on his property. The suspect complied with all commands as Sergeants O'Connell and Crandall supervised the call. In another case a man held a rifle and aimed it while standing on the roof of a house. Five people came out of the house and two from the roof as Dr. Sgt. Quimson coordinated a surround and callout. According to Detective Bill Veteran, Fremont PD the weapon was an Airsoft rifle. One of those in the group was reported by another agency as a missing emancipated minor.
