August 31, 2010 > Welcome Teacher Day held at Fremont Flowers Welcome Teacher Day held at Fremont Flowers Submitted By Sherea Westra The Fremont Education Foundation (FEF) and Fremont Flowers teamed up again this year to welcome teachers back to school. On Tuesday, August 31, the day before school starts in the Fremont Unified School District (FUSD), all FUSD elementary students were invited to stop by Fremont Flowers on 36551 Fremont Boulevard. Each student received a free flower to give to their new teacher on the first day of school. All Fremont Unified schools begin the new school year on September 1. In addition to giving free flowers for elementary teachers, Fremont Flowers is also donating bouquets to each FUSD school on September 1, delivered by FEF members.
