Man assaulted on 13th Street
During an argument between two brothers, one picked up a knife and stabbed the victim in the arm. The incident happened on Thursday, August 19 on 13th Street. The victim was transported to a local hospital. His brother, who was found across the street, was arrested for assault.

Suspect arrested for possession of drugs
On Friday, August 20, a suspect was arrested for possession of controlled substances for sale. He had amphetamines and marijuana packaged for sale, and was arrested in the parking lot of Food Maxx Stores on Industrial Boulevard.

In a similar incident on the same day Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving (COPPS) Unit arrested an occupant of a vehicle on Lowry Road. The passenger was arrested for hiding methamphetamine and a handgun in the vehicle, under the seat.

Armed Robberies
A suspect brandished a handgun, robbed a man of his I-Phone and fled on foot towards a nearby park. The incident happened on Sunday, August 22 when the victim was walking on Acre Street. No injuries were reported.

In another armed robbery on Thursday, August 26, a suspect forcibly attempted to snatch a woman's purse as she was waiting for the AC transit bus near Alvarado Boulevard and Dyer Street. The victim fell to the ground during the struggle and lost consciousness, she was transported to Eden Hospital.

According to witnesses the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 30-35 years old, 5'5" - 5'7", chunky build, wearing a camouflage hat, black shirt and blue jeans. Several other witnesses saw the suspect get into a grey-colored vehicle of an unknown make and model.

Two victims were standing near a gas station when they were approached by two suspects, one armed with a handgun. One suspect held the victims at gunpoint while the second suspect retrieved property from the victims. The incident happened on Wednesday night, August 25 at the Shell gasoline station on Alvarado-Niles Road. No injuries were reported in this case.

A woman was arrested for stealing a car. The stolen vehicle was found parked in the lot at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Alvarado-Niles Road.
