August 10, 2010 > Letter to the editor: Restore our bus stops Letter to the editor: Restore our bus stops AC Transit's bus #217 and VTA's Bus #47 ran along Milpitas Boulevard until January 2010 and we need them back. VTA Bus#47 (from Great Mall to McCarthy Ranch) can be diverted via Town Center Drive to Milpitas Boulevard, followed by another right on to West Calaveras Boulevard. On the return trip from McCarthy Ranch to Great Mall, the route should follow a left turn on to Milpitas Boulevard, then right on to Town Center Drive to join East Calaveras Boulevard before proceeding to Great Mall. The restored bus stops on Milpitas Boulevard will help many seniors reach CVS Pharmacy on the West side and the Barbara Lee Senior Center on the East side when it opens on August 14, 2010.
