Save Fremont Students continues fundraising efforts

A local group of dedicated students and parents has already raised over $500,000 to save several elementary specialty prep teacher positions and secondary education programs in the Fremont Unified School District. Their efforts are continuing with a series of additional fundraising events.
Saturday, August 7: The Save Fremont Students Gala: Stairway to the Future 6 p.m. Niles Veterans Memorial Building 37154 Second Street, Fremont
Join the Fremont community in celebrating the ending of the Save Fremont Students campaign. This is a semi-formal event with dinner, featuring the entertainment talents of local students and adults, a silent auction, raffle baskets, and dancing.
We will also be recognizing outstanding individuals and organizations in our community who have given so much towards this cause.
High school students have offered to provide babysitting services on-site to help those who wish to attend.
Seats are limited and will be sold on a first come, first served basis so please order your tickets early. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - August 13, 14, and 15: Charity Tennis Tournament benefitting SFS Hosted by Mission Hills Tennis Club and Tompkins Tennis Academy 10 East Las Palmas, Fremont Start times depend on number of entrants. Match times will vary but will be scheduled sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Open to all junior, adult, members and non-members. Doubles matches only. Pairing by USTA/NTRP ratings.
Costs: $75 entry fee - Tennis and Saturday BBQ dinner with two drink tickets $60 entry fee - Tennis only (No Saturday dinner or drinks) $25 - Saturday BBQ dinner and two drink tickets (No tennis) Dinner on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Adults: $25 for ages 13 and older (includes T-shirt) Ages 12 and younger are free (no T-shirt)
