Submitted By Richard
On Monday, July 19, Dick Wesch, Jonathan Jones and John Perdue of the Fremont Rodent Society presented shares of the proceeds raised during the annual golf tournament to Angle Carmignani of The Taylor Family Foundation, Camp Arroyo. The Taylor Family Foundation was founded in 1990 in order to raise money and support programs for Northern California children with life-threatening illnesses and disabilities including skin and heart diseases, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, autism and other chronic and critical conditions. These children are provided with medical care, support and free summer weekend camp experiences.
The golf tournament played on June 22nd at Sunol Valley Golf Club, was followed by dinner, silent and live auctions and a lottery at the Spin-A-Yarn Restaurant in Fremont. Volunteers from the Taylor Family Foundation Camp Arroyo and Friends of Children with Special Needs who shared in the proceeds were present all during the events.
