At approximately 10:19 a.m., Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that was engulfed in flames at the intersection of Thornton Avenue and Cedar Boulevard. The front end of a U-Haul truck was fully engulfed.
At approximately 12:42 a.m. a large party was reported in the 6300 block of Mirabeau Drive. Numerous people were fighting in the street when Officers responded and dispersed the crowd.
Monday, July 26
Officer Williams stopped a subject for crossing against the "don't walk" hand and for previously threatening a medical staff in Fremont.
Approximately fifteen to twenty people were involved in a gang fight in front of the Latter-Day Saints Church on Haley Street. Extra patrol units were requested to control the altercation. Witnesses were uncooperative in giving any information.
An Officer attempted to stop a vehicle that was driving erratically. The driver attempted to flee and crashed on I-880 near Thornton Avenue. A 14-year old driver had taken his mother's boyfriend's car without permission. The juvenile was arrested for auto theft.
