Kelly Musgrove, Union City PD 39-year-old Johnny Henry Barraza will face felony charges for sexually abusing a 13-year-old Union City male juvenile. The abuse started in August 2009 after the suspect established communication with the victim using the internet. Parents of the juvenile learned of the abuse and quickly notified the police in mid-March this year. Lead investigator Detective Paul Kanazeh, tracked down the suspect. Charges were filed and an arrest warrant was obtained for Taft resident Barraza on Friday, July 2. The suspect was booked into Kern County Jail and will face four felony sex charges including sodomy of a juvenile.
