Vandalism in Niles Officers responded to 151 J Street after a City employee reported damage to a newly constructed sidewalk and curb in front of the address. The suspect, who was apparently upset with the design of the sidewalk and curbs, vandalized the freshly poured cement in an attempt to change the design.
Burglary on Albrae Street Two males stole seven laptops on Thursday, July 1 from a business located at 40530 Albrae Street and fled in a black Mercedes ML430 SUV. Witnesses were able to get the license plate number. The vehicle was later found to be stolen from a San Jose residential burglary. Another witness located the vehicle parked on Reseda Circle and saw the suspects enter a battered white older mini van and leave the area. The stolen SUV on was later located on Reseda Circle. The suspects are still at large.
Auto-theft A 29-year-old parolee stole a vehicle from Santa Clara. The vehicle was located in Fremont and Officers pursued it from Dusterberry to Sundale Dr. Three units were involved in the pursuit and shortly after losing sight of the vehicle, Officer Morillas located the suspect vehicle at Blacow Rd/Coco Palm. A Suspect was grabbed by a citizen and arrested. During the chase, the suspect had sideswiped another vehicle at Argonaut/Walnut, minor damage was reported; there were, however, no injuries. |
