A new facility to expand lifestyle opportunities for retirees officially opened on June 25, 2010. Located next to the Masonic Home on the hills above Union City with magnificent views of the Bay Area, this new facility will provide a secure environment for residents and "offer a comprehensive array of recreational programs and supportive and health care services." Cottages on a 305-acre campus provide a plethora of amenities that will satisfy the needs of those seeking independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing care.
Residency is open to those 60 years of age and older of any faith. This "not-for-profit" Continuing Care Retirement Community is designed to maintain independence provide a "rich, rewarding lifestyle. A variety of amenities and activities are available to accommodate any interest. Private accommodations include apartments, cottages and patio homes. As an affiliate of the Masonic Homes of California, this facility receives support and shares the philanthropic philosophy of Freemasonry - "an interdenominational awareness of good fellowship.
