June 22, 2010 > Newark Crime Report Newark Crime Report Submitted By courtesy of City of Newark Warehouse Fire On Tuesday, June 15 at approximately 0632 hours, officers responded to 7887 Bay Area Bumpers on a report of a warehouse fire. The fire was not suspicious in nature and there were no reported injuries. Robbery A black male between 5'4" and 5'6" in height and approximately 18-22 years old with long dreadlocks, approached the counter, produced a note and robbed Wells Fargo Bank in the Raley's Shopping center on Wednesday June 16 at 11:11 a.m.. No weapon was seen or mentioned. The robber fled on foot and has not been located. Self-endangerment On Wednesday, June 16 at approximately 1955 hours, Officer Jackman and Officer Allum responded to Newark Square regarding a male running in front of moving cars. He was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.
