Shooting at Decoto Road
A male victim was shot while driving on 11th Street at Decoto Road on the evening of Friday, June 4. The vehicle collided with a light pole and caught fire. The driver suffered major facial injuries due to the collision, not because of the gunshots. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The case is under investigation.

On Saturday evening, June 5, a black male suspect pointing a handgun walked up to a man at the Bank of America ATM on Alvarado Boulevard and demanded money. The suspect then ran to a waiting car and got into the front passenger seat. The vehicle drove off in an unknown direction. The case is under investigation.

Two Hispanic male suspects approached a husband and wife and demanded money. The incident took place on Tuesday, June 8 when the victims were walking near Kennedy Park. The suspects took the victim's wallet and fled on foot. When the victim chased them, he was hit over the head with a bottle by one of the suspects. The case is under investigation.

Two black male suspects approached a man and struck him over the head before taking his wallet. The robbery occurred on June 9 at the Union Landing shopping complex. The victim was at the Wells Fargo ATM that evening. He went to a local hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained during the robbery. The suspects fled on foot. The case is under investigation.

On Monday, June 7, officers responded to a residence on 6th Street on report of a suicidal male. Family members reported that the subject was also in possession of several firearms. A family member reported that the subject has mental issues and was not taking his prescribed medications. The subject surrendered and was detained on a psychiatric detention. There were no injuries.

On Tuesday, June 8, officers responded to the Mission View market on Mission Boulevard on report of a male suspect yelling and acting strangely. He resisted officers and had to be physically restrained. He continued his violent resistance and had to be sedated by the ambulance crew who arrived to take him to the hospital. The suspect was later jailed for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
