June 11, 2010 > Camera club hosts annual photo show Camera club hosts annual photo show Submitted By Maria Lemery Photos By Maria Lemery An Artists' Reception of the Milpitas Camera Club Annual Photography Exhibit will include two other groups active in the Milpitas community. The Milpitas Alliance for the Arts will provide light refreshments and an ensemble of the Milpitas Community Band will provide music during the event. The Artists' Reception will be on Sunday, June 13, 2-4 p.m., at the Milpitas Public Library Auditorium, 160 N. Main Street. The photography exhibit will run from Thursday, June 10 to Tuesday, June 15 and features the works of Milpitas High School students and Camera Club members of all skill levels. Some are accomplished professional grade photographers. Milpitas library hours are 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. (Monday - Thursday), 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Friday and Saturday) and 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. (Sunday). The Milpitas Camera Club is open to anyone with an interest in photography and offers educational programs, field trips and social events. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the Community Room in the Milpitas Police Department building at 1275 N. Milpitas Boulevard.
