June 8, 2010 > Police arrest man for self endangerment Police arrest man for self endangerment By Meenu Gupta A husband and wife were arrested on Wednesday, May 26 after the man barricaded himself, the woman and their two small children inside a home on Jamie Way in Hayward for several hours. "The guy was arrested for self endangerment and resisting arrest," said Sgt. James D. Nelson. The 26 year-old man was arrested following the incident, he refused to come out of the house. Police entered the home trying to arrest him, but the guy resisted and was shot with a Taser gun before being detained. His wife was also arrested after she started to interfere with the arrest of her husband. The two children, both toddlers, were not harmed.
