June 4, 2010 > Newark Crime Report Newark Crime Report Courtesy of City of Newark On Saturday, May 29 at approximately 1430 hours, units responded to a possible fire at the Sycamore Bay apartment complex. They began evacuating residents when smoke was seen coming from one of the apartment windows. The Fire Department forced entry and located unattended food burning on a stove. There was no damage other then to the front door used to gain entry.
