You can help build the playground, too. Join the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (HARD), Home Depot, South Hayward Parish, City of Hayward, Hayward Unified School District and KaBOOM! to help make kids' dreams a reality. The collaborative and volunteers will prepare a site at Eden Greenway Linear Park, Hayward, and build a playground. Volunteers are needed for Prep Day on Tuesday, June 15 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and for Build Day on Thursday, June 17 from 7.45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please contact Volunteer Hayward on (510) 888-0102.
