Fremont Crime Report

Suicide attempt
A 16 yr old female jumped into traffic in a suicide attempt and suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries. The incident happened on Monday, May 31 at Guardino near Mowry. She was transported to the hospital.

Robberies
A lone female left a BART train and noticed two females following her onto Walnut Ave. They grabbed her from behind, knocked her to the ground and stole personal items including purse, phone and computer. Suspects fled toward BART. Officers searched the platform and found both suspects from North County, hiding in one of the trains. Suspects were arrested and property recovered.

On Friday May 28, Officers responded to the Fast & Easy Mart after a Hispanic male threatened the clerk with a knife. Suspect fled in a full-size gray Dodge van. An area check for the suspect was unsuccessful. The case is under investigation.
