Fremont Bank announced that Liz Paulus has been named as Senior Trust Officer and will be joining the bank's growing Wealth Management department.
Paulus brings more than 10 years of experience in trust administration and investment management to the position. In this role, she will be responsible for administering a variety of personal trusts including special needs and life insurance trusts, as well as estate and probate administration. In addition, Paulus will be responsible for the review of all new trusts for acceptance, and will oversee and manage the investment of trust assets. She will also manage daily operations and general compliance activities for the Wealth Management department.
Prior to joining Fremont Bank, Paulus held similar positions in the San Francisco Bay Area with IMT Associates, Whittier Trust Company, and Mechanics Bank.
"We are extremely pleased to have Liz join our Wealth Management team as her experience and skills, especially in the area of Special Needs Trusts, complement our already talented group of trust professionals," says Fremont Bank's Chief Administrative Officer Chris Chenoweth.
Paulus is a certified trust and financial advisor and president of the Estate Planning Council of Southern Alameda County, as well as a member of the East Bay Estate Planning Council.
