May 18, 2010 > Milpitas artists win art awards Milpitas artists win art awards Submitted By Peggy Horyza Photos By Peggy Horyza The Golden Hills Art Association is proud to announce that two Milpitas Artists were awarded three top ribbons at the Tri-Club Open Juried Show held on Saturday, May 1 at the Cribari Center Auditorium at the Villages in San Jose. Three art clubs: The Villages Arts and Crafts Association, Golden Hills Art Association and East Valley Artists joined together to present the Art Show to promote the arts. Dale Nomii won 1st place ribbon for his oil painting "Miaka." Jerry Epps won 2nd place ribbon for his oil painting "Ocean Profile." Dale Nomii also won the People's Choice ribbon for his oil painting "Best Friends."
