Red Robin in association with the local law enforcement recently hosted this event for Special Olympics Northern California. Officer Mavrakis has actively been involved in the event for the past ten years.
The group wears authentic Star Wars costumes and appears at movie premieres and other functions as the characters from the Star Wars movies. "Last time they helped us we had Darth Vader, his Storm Troopers, and other characters. They will be at this event available to meet the public."
Proceeds from Tip-A-Cop support young athletes of Special Olympics and the summer games at UC Davis. For more information on donations, support, or participation please contact Officer Nick Mavrakis at (510) 578-4778.
