Shoot your favorite person!
With a camera that is...

Join the Fremont Art Association's Digital Photography Group (FAADPG) on May 15, for a free lesson on how to take outdoor pictures of your kids, family, or friends using simple reflectors. Learning to utilize these reflectors will greatly improve the outcome of your outdoor photographs. Students will be supplied with some foam core and 5 in One reflectors to use to make professional looking portraits.
Meet at the FAA gallery at Noon for a brief introductory lecture on basic photographic concepts used in making portraits. The group will then proceed to Lake Elizabeth. Bring your favorite person to photograph, your hat, water bottle, light snack, camera, lens hood, polarizer, tripod (optional), and lens kit. We ask participants to sign a liability release for field trips. This is a good outing for those with limited mobility as there are sidewalks throughout the park.
The Third Saturday (S3) photography group is a free street level art outreach program sponsored by the Fremont Art Association and Cooksey-Talbott Gallery. The group leader is award winning local photographer Cooksey-Talbott. He is assisted by the 2009 FAA Artist of the Year, Jacline Deridder.
The S3 photo group strives to offer events of interest to a wide range of photographers, so please feel welcome to come and participate. Additional information on the S3 program and photography classes is available through their free online forum at http://faadpg.ning.com or at www.cookseytalbottgallery.com/classes.pho.
